Without Walls Childrens’ Ministry
Our kids aren’t the church of tomorrow… they are the church of today!
We exist to equip our children to be the boys and girls that God wants them to be in His Kingdom. We want to train up our children with Biblical truth, Holy Spirit power, and lots of fun. We want to provide a space for our kids to be kids – blow off steam, be silly, have some fun! We create an environment where every kid can be accepted for who they are and valued for their strengths, weaknesses, and uniqueness.
We also want to train and encourage our kids to “do the stuff” of the Kingdom. We are developing in them a lifestyle of mercy and compassion to others around them. Our kids are given opportunities to make a difference in our community. We want to give them the tools to be a positive influence where they live here in Holland and even around the world! They are encouraged to be prayed for and to pray for one another.
During our Sunday Gathering
From 3 years to 9th Grade
We are giving our kids practical Biblical teaching and fun worship times designed just for them! Each class is staffed with one adult and a helper.
The 1st Sunday of the month the kids are all together led by Kelly Petroelje in a fun, interactive Bible based program. The other weeks they are in age appropriate classes.
During the summer break we will have a different schedule in order to have a summer program that takes place from June thru August.
These are the different groups we are currently offering.
Age 3 and under (Nursery)
Our little ones are cared for in our nursery which is staffed by two care givers every week.
Preschool – 3rd Grade
This team use a curriculum by Group publishing called “Kids Travel Guide” . These are 13 weeks “journeys” taking an in depth look at things like:
The Parables of Jesus, The Lord’s Prayer, The Armor of God. The bible stories are brought to life through dramas, and creative activities.
4rd – 5th Grade (9-11 year old)
This team use the same curriculum by Group publishers, “Kids’ Travel Guide.”
6th – 8th graders
Middleschoolers meet the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays. They use both Bible Study and various books to wrestle through real life issues. Always looking for practical wisdom and pointing to a relationship with God. They have studied
“The Power of a Praying Teen”, “The Search for Significance”, “Does the Bible have Answers?”
